Melissa Snyder has been planning and hosting fun, creative celebrations ever since she could remember! Born and raised in a small town, she has always had a love of nature, crafting and entertaining. After graduating from SUNY Brockport College, she began her career in teaching. After being blessed with her two girls, Claire and Cora, she quickly realized her passion for celebrating life’s special moments and how event planning could be a rewarding and fulfilling profession. After 13 years, she stepped away from teaching and founded Simple Celebrations, where her design skills and welcoming personality have earned her an outstanding reputation. 

Melissa believes that life is full of reasons to celebrate. She cherishes the role she gets to play in the lives of her clients, serving as both a close confidant and a trustworthy friend while carefully delivering a one-of-a-kind event for which she is known. 

Melissa would be honored to help you plan and host a beautiful wedding or event that is unique and personalized. From weddings, to showers, to birthday parties, Melissa and her team and can help your vision come to life!

During her free time, you can find Melissa hunting for unique items at thrift shops, walking barefoot in her garden, traveling with her family, or putt'n around on her motorcycle at sunset.
